Our client is one of the leading players in the online tutoring space wherein they are selected as a “Trusted Provider” for the National Tutoring Programme for the third consecutive time in 2018. The UK’s tutorial company Manning Tutors focuses on the provision of educational support. Manning tutors go beyond the conventional tutoring services by providing support to visually impaired students during exams hence, employing scribes. Aiming at simplifying and improving its deliverables, Manning Tutors collaborated with Assystant for an innovative mobile application.

Challenges:

Manning Tutors encountered difficulties in scripting and scheduling through manual ways during exams. A multipurpose mobile app was realized to be required for check-in, team coordination, tracking location, and payout. Assystant undertook the development of a platform that would operate in a way of automating the processes, thus eliminating manual labor and increasing productivity as well.

Web Backend with Python Django: The strong skills of Django, the Python backend, wherein the app’s functions are executed, are used to develop a web interface for smooth transitions.

Cross-Platform Development with Xamarin: We used Xamarin technology to achieve a unified experience when it comes to Android and iOS platforms, which also improved development and deployment within the apps.

Introduction

The client is a property management company based in Michigan, USA, and primarily generates revenue from rent collection from the properties they manage. In 2018, the company reported an annual revenue of over $2 million. The company collects several crucial real-time business data, which is then exported to an Excel spreadsheet for analysis by the managers.

However, this process was cumbersome and time-consuming. As a result, the company enlisted Assystant’s help to make reporting and analysis less complex, freeing managers from spending too much time on this tiring task.

Our Solution

Our team collaborated with the client’s managers to understand their current processes and elicit their requirements. After careful analysis, we devised a plan to work with multiple databases by integrating data from various sources into a single data warehouse.

Building the Data Warehouse

To create a successful data warehouse, we began by identifying the data sources and types of data that needed to be collected. We then designed the data architecture, which included the processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Our team created a robust ETL process that collected data from various sources, transformed it into a consistent format, and loaded it into the data warehouse.

Creating the Report

After building the data warehouse, we created a report using Google Data Studio for all the metrics. The report included key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, occupancy rates, and rental income, which were updated automatically in real-time.

Our client’s Research and Development team innovated two new IoT devices to their product portfolio. One is a wearable device for people with Parkinson’s disease; The other is a portable device for people suffering from chronic respiratory problems. However, the client had yet to develop web and mobile applications to manage the data from the devices. Thus, the client engaged Assystant as an expert to develop the applications to achieve faster time to market, application predictability, and stress-free maintenance. The challenge presented was to create a web and mobile application aligning with the client’s vision: fast, easy-to-use, and reliable, with real-time medical data capabilities. The application needed to support files from various remote sources, including newly built custom proprietary hardware devices, ensuring the confidentiality and separation of all medical data. Increase repeat purchase with mobile app integration

The client is a nutrition supplement retailer and distributor, headquartered in Mumbai, India. They generate revenue from their proprietary e-commerce portal, e-commerce marketplaces, and own offline stores present in major cities across India. According to some estimates, the client had a revenue of $5million during 2018.

THE PROBLEM

As nutrition supplement is a niche market, with a majority of sales, generating from repeat buyers. The client wanted to make the buying process more convenient by making its products accessible through mobile devices. The client engaged Asysstant to build a user-friendly, lightweight mobile application to enhance the customer experience.

Initially, we accessed and analysed data of the client’s existing e-commerce portal from Analytics tools. Effective implementation of AI to reduce back office cost

THE PROBLEM

Our client has several Gaming-machines distributed in multiple locations. Each machine captured the usage log and its corresponding game data, and it was updated on a central server once every midnight. The data was then exported to a spreadsheet and collated with all previous data to generate updated reports about machines. This process was cumbersome and exposed to human error. So the client engaged Assystant to build a reporting system that would mitigate the risk of human error and update reports faster than before.

OUR SOLUTION

We collaborated with the client to elicit requirements and document them. After gathering and analysing the requirements, we captured the data, collated it, and processed it for reporting. Then we utilised the vetted data to create visualisations using a reporting tool. Our strategy was to avoid human intervention in the data processing stage and show the data in a filterable dashboard.

Intro

The client is a mid-scale chemical manufacturing company that manufactures paints, adhesives, waterproofing membranes, and other chemical-based products. The company is headquartered in India and sales its product across the nation. The annual revenue of the company is $25million+.

The problem

The client has a distributed sales team and was using an off the shelf Customer Relationship Management(CRM) software to manage its sales team. It was paying a monthly subscription fee to use the software. However, the sales team was rarely using it. The client realised that the software was too complicated to use. So, the client engaged Assystant to build a custom solution to tackle the challenge.

Our Solution

We held a workshop with our client’s sales team to understand their existing sales processes and the problems they faced in their legacy software. We analyzed the given situation and came up with a concept solution. Then we implemented the solution in phases and tracked the success with appropriate key performance indicators(KPI). The client is a Dubai based HRTech Startup, which is founded by talented business people with global professional education and industry experience. The Startup aims to transform workplace culture by providing insights about how an employee feels about the workplace.

The problem

Like many early-stage startup founders, our client had a clear vision about the business and the problem they are targeting to solve. THE PROBLEM

As a growth-oriented retail company, our client was concerned about the bounce rate in the e-commerce portal and low conversion rates. So the client engaged Assystant to consult and provide a solution to the case.

OUR SOLUTION

Our team analyzed the data from Google Analytics and concluded with three hypotheses to solve the problem. One, the e-commerce website had scope to improve mobile optimization, reduce bounce rate.
