Finding the right lawyer for a specific legal need was a fragmented process for many people in Brazil. Advogando’s founders saw an opportunity to bring structure to this process through a digital marketplace, but building a two-sided platform for legal services introduced requirements beyond a typical marketplace app.
Clients needed a straightforward way to search for and consult with lawyers, while lawyers needed tools to present their expertise and communicate directly with prospective clients. This required real-time communication features built directly into the platform, not just static listings.
The platform also needed to work across mobile devices from day one, since many users would search for legal help on their phones rather than through a desktop browser.

Assystant built the Advogando marketplace application with inbuilt chat functionality, allowing clients and lawyers to communicate directly within the platform. The application was deployed to both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
