The Challenge
Planning meals around what is already in the kitchen is a common challenge for households, often resulting in food waste or repetitive last-minute decisions. MealsPad wanted to solve this by connecting recipe planning directly to kitchen inventory.
Beyond simple recipe browsing, MealsPad needed intelligence built into the platform, a way to suggest recipes based on what a household actually had available, and to plan meals for the week automatically rather than one recipe at a time.
Delivering this experience meant building both a mobile and web application, deployed across major app stores, backed by a system capable of matching available inventory to relevant recipes.
