The Vehicle Routing Problem is a well-known logistics challenge: finding the most efficient routes for a fleet of vehicles serving multiple stops. Enroute set out to solve this computationally for its transport industry customers, a problem that required both strong algorithmic thinking and a reliable application to deliver it.
As Enroute’s business matured, its needs shifted from solving the routing problem itself toward supporting full last-mile delivery management, requiring the platform to be reengineered to support real-time delivery operations rather than route planning alone.
This shift meant Enroute needed a technology partner who could both build the original VRP-focused SaaS platform and later reengineer it to support a broader delivery

Assystant initially built Enroute’s VRP-focused SaaS platform using Xamarin, Angular, and Django. As Enroute’s business evolved toward last-mile delivery management, Assystant reengineered the application using React Native, React.js, Django, and sockets for real-time functionality.
