Nutritionplanet’s ecommerce store needed to support subscription-based purchasing and bulk ordering, purchase patterns common among nutrition supplement customers but not always well supported by standard ecommerce setups.
Beyond subscriptions, the company wanted to make bulk order pricing more interactive. Static bulk pricing does not always reflect what a customer is willing to negotiate for larger orders, and Nutritionplanet wanted a way to capture that flexibility without manual sales involvement.
This meant Nutritionplanet needed both a mobile application to support subscriptions and bulk orders, and a more advanced conversational tool to handle price negotiation at scale.

Assystant built a mobile application for Nutritionplanet’s ecommerce store using PHP and WooCommerce, enabling subscription and bulk order functionality. Assystant then extended the platform with an AI chatbot built on PHP, Python using Rasa, and AWS, designed to negotiate pricing for subscriptions and bulk orders.
