The Challenge

ParkTiger’s parking spaces needed to be bookable in real time, but the company lacked a mobile experience that let customers reserve spots conveniently from anywhere. Customers expected an app-based booking experience similar to other on-demand services, and without one, ParkTiger risked losing bookings to more digitally accessible competitors.

The company had already adopted the Planyo booking system to manage reservations on the backend, but this system was not connected to a customer-facing mobile application. This gap meant customers could not book seamlessly, and staff had to bridge the difference between backend scheduling and customer requests.

ParkTiger needed an application that worked across both iOS and Android, integrated cleanly with its existing Planyo booking infrastructure, and gave customers a simple way to reserve parking space in Vienna.

Assystant do

Assystant built and deployed a mobile application for ParkTiger on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, using React Native for the front end and Django for the backend, hosted on AWS.

The integration with Planyo meant ParkTiger did not need to replace its existing booking infrastructure.
