The challenge
BIFI was tasked with a unique challenge: to transform a complex research concept into a functional and commercial software product for a partner language company. The goal was to develop a “cognitive translation memory software” that surpassed existing market solutions by incorporating deep research into the psychological aspects of translation. The system needed to automate key business operations for the partner, including project, vendor, and file management, while providing more intelligent and nuanced suggestions to translators.
The project required translating a research-heavy idea into a scalable and reliable web application that could handle a large volume of data and complex AI algorithms. This required a strategic partner who could not only build a robust technological solution but also understand the core research behind the project. Assystant partnered with BIFI to develop their cognitive translation memory software. Our team leveraged expertise in web application development to build a sophisticated AI-powered tool based on BIFI’s research. We created a custom file management and the TM.
The application was built using a powerful technology stack including React, Django, AWS, Solr and Redis. This combination ensured a scalable and high-performance solution. We were responsible for the full-stack development and deployment of the solution, ensuring a seamless transition from a research concept to a commercial-grade product.
